Default Can you add the 20-color interior Accent Lighting later??

I just bought a 2009 Cube SL and the only thing it didn't come with was the Accent Lighting. Is it possible to get it installed at a Nissan Dealership after you have purchased it? I thought it was kinda cool and was thinking about it. Not even sure if it is cost effective to do so.

My Nissan Dealer said it would cost approx 200.00 for installation and 210.00 for the actual lighting kit.

IIRC, the dealer here in Rochester will do it for $267 parts + installation. $200 for installation seems pretty silly. Maybe they don't want to be bothered for the the 10 minutes it takes to install?

I got the 20 light kit + the lighted kick plates from my local Nissan dealer. Not cheap. $210 for the kick plates + $240 for the 20 light kit + installation & taxes had me at over $700. It took them more than a day to get it done. It looks great, but it was pretty pricey. I think I am the only one who ever had it installed so they took their time with it. It seems pretty complicated by looking at the instructions. I am clueless to installing anything electronic on cars so I had to get them to do it.

I somewhat regret it due to the price I paid, but I do like it a lot.
