Two windshield cracks in new Cube? ...
We bought a new Nissan Cube in July. Like it so far.
Wife calls me from a Dr.'s office early afternoon (she was there for work, she travels to offices). Says there are two large scratches in the windshield. Seems quite odd.
When I get home I take a look and realize it's not scratches, it's two large cracks. I know that cracks can result from an impact or ding left unrepaired, but this wasn't that. There's no sign of any kind of impact.
Just two large maybe 10" cracks, on on either side of the windshield, both coming in from the outside edge. I imagine that this is from the body flexing?
I've never had this happen to a vehicle before. We don't drive it roughly, almost all highway miles, no ruts, railroad ties, nasty potholes, etc. I'm going to call up Nissan and see what they'll do about it.
Frustrating. Anyone ever experience this?
