Default In the market for new CUBE, please help us!

Okay, we are looking to replace a car in the family.... normal driving maybe only about 8000 mile per year (at most)

here are our questions.
- 2011 vs 2012, major differences? should we wait for 2012? I heard there may not be any more cube for 2013, truth?
- 2011 S vs SL trim. what's the major difference. We priced a S trim with CVT and it's still $600 cheaper than SL. Rims are $600?
- Parking sensors, i don't see them as an option... can we add them? aftermarket?
- I'm sure everyone here are Cube owners, have you consider others? xB or Kia Soul?
- Engine, is 1.8L 122HP enough? I'm almost thinking of the xB just because it's more horsepower but I'm told CVT will be better.

last.... i'm offering them invoice price on 2011s, i think they should since the new models are coming in. are there any additional incentives? should I shoot for below invoice?

thanks..... looking forward to be a CUBE family soon

I have a 09 SL W/tech back. Nothing really changes in 2012 new blue and Krom goes away. Just the SL you get auto climat system, Blue tooth and better sterio with a sub woofer in the back tail gate. The tech pack adds the push button start, rear back up camera. As for the power very good CVT is super nice smoth and great on hills and mountains. I will not run away going down and is smoth going up. Just took a trip from Ohio to Florida with four tall adults, most room of any car out there. We had and average speed of 70 mph and still had and average of 32 miles per galon on the flats and 28 in the mountains.

Smile Going to buy a CUBE next week! Please help!

Hi!

I'm going to buy a Cube next week. Can you let me know if I will be incuring any problems long term with the cube? I WANT IT SOOOO MUCH!! but my mom and my friend say it might have transmission problems and other things that might cost me alot later. This my FIRST car purchase and I want it to be a good one. I'm your opinions will the Cube last me a long time? My mom just thinks I want to buy a cute car and am not thinking about the problems i may have with the car. Can anyone give me any pros and cons about the car? I really need your help!!

Thanks

The transmission has a longer warranty than the car has on it. I have a 09 with the CVT and even pull a jetski with it never any truble with it.
