Default I need new discs and pads for Cube

Hi,

I need new front brake discs and pads for my Nissan Cube.

Can anybody help with part numbers?

Is there other vehicles that use the same brake set-up?

How much should I be looking at?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm in Australia.

Default brake info

My friend, any major auto parts store will have your brake parts, remember the underbody is basically a versa, so there is no shortage of supplies. Regarding cost, in America the rotors and pads purchased by you should be less then $100 and labor should also be under $100. How did you wear out the rotors so fast? If you only need pads the entire process should be under $100. Stay away from dealers.

On using a Dealer:
I have two Nissan's a 1997 XE Pickup, with less the 50K miles and a 2011 Sentra. Both bought new. NOBODY has touched either mechanically except the DEALER. Serviced every 3,000 miles/3months. I have been offered $10,000 for the pickup, which near what I paid for it 14 years ago!

I'm very happy for you, of course your reply is more about the market for pick-ups and not the avalibility of brake parts or the notorious mark-ups at dealers. I can only imagine how much more of a potential financial gain you would of had with a good independent shop. P.S. being offered $10G's isn't the same as actually selling for $10G's. There are lot's of talkers, a bank won't loan $ on your 14 yr. old pick-up, and know one is handing you $10G cash for a soon to be 15 yr. old pick-up. Take the money, but I suspect it's just talk.
