My Cube won't start

I Last used my 2009 at 11pm last night. at 8:30am this morning she wouldn't start.Went through the whole manual, tried all tips and tricks...tried both i keys...it appears like the steering wheel was not locked and when i pushed on the brake to start the car it seemed stiff, can't even turn on radio...and yes the gear shift was in park...lol. Doors would lock and unlock and interior lights work, horn worked, The tow truck guy tried boosting it and other stuff too, to no avail. So off to the dealership she went. Has anyone else has a silmilar issue? On a good note...this was the first time the entire tow company had to tow a Cube...he said that it was a good thing

My car wouldn't start over the weekend. Had it towed to the dealership on saturday. They called me yesterday to say that it was the "steering wheel lock solenoid" or something and that it would be a free repair. Today they called me and told me it was $479. Hope you don't have what I have!

Mine only has 15,000 miles on her and still under warranty ...Or should be!!

Got her back today! Was a warranty part ...No charge! :-)

I had the same problem with my '09 Cube last week. Yep, steering wheel lock solenoid...covered by warrantee. This was the "keyless" starting system. I hope I don't have that problem again...what a pain!
