Talking Ipod Package

Hi there,
I am looking at purchasing a Cube.. And really... the only option I am interested is the IPod connection capability. Is this option only but a cable that is provided. I am assuming the audio (CD) system has to have this built into the system MP3 function....

I am trying to determine if I should get the basic audio package and purchase a cd player with Ipod connectivity elsewhere??...

Thanks,
me

You should go to a dealer and have a look and a listen. The tech package has the iPod connection. It is the same as on your computer. You plug your cable into it. I'm pretty happy with the tech package and the sound quality of what comes with the car. Others, have written that the basic audio package is not that good. Not sure if this answers your question though.

Default I Pod

Has anyone hooked up their I Pod using the cable supplied by Nissan? Mine came with the cable, and am considering purchasing an I Pod, but I was wondering which model I Pod worked the best.

My 2010 didn't come with a cable. Maybe Nissan doesn't supply them in Canada.

I had to buy a cable from Walmart, 10 bucks and it works great. Your personal songs work great, but if you want to listen to "Pandora or Yahoo Music" you have to first play a song from your Iphone/pod, then while its playing pull up pandora and start streaming. Pandora will take over and you can enjoy it.

THank you all for your repsonses. I got myself into a Charcoal Gry 2009 1.8 S Nissan Cube.... I do just have the basic audio system.

Now I am assuming I can still purchase a cable to listen to my IPOD touch using the Auxiliary Audio Input jack...

My plans are to upgrade to a system of my liking in the next month or so..
