There is a list on Nissan's website of phones that have been tested. I don't remember where it is but I was able to pull it up. I don't thnk the carrier makes a difference, it's the phone. I have a Samsung and after I paird the phone to the car all I have to do is say "Call....Home" and it found it. I know there is a way to put the phonebook into the car if your phone doesn't do it automatically, but since I didn't need that, I'm not sure how. But I rheard it is a tedious process. Try searching Nissan's website and they may have better instructions there than in the car manual.

Default Bluetooth

Gary, thanks for help. I checked with LG. The phone I have does not automatically load the phonebook into the car. But manually linking them is okay with me because I only need four or five names. And to boot I went to the dealership, found a young guy who knows this stuff and he could not decipher how to load them manually. He's researching the issue and if he finds the answer, I'll post if for those who had the same problem as I have.

Default Transferring phonebook into Cube's Bluetooth

Nissan Computer Corporation is the place to go to see if your phone will accept that function. I just got an LG Shine II and it DOES NOT. Like others, I tried to enter names/#s one at a time. The instructions suck. I am going to the dealer Monday because a tech guy I know works there and he's researching the whole issue. I'll post what I get from him in this threat. Ron from MA

Here is the right link to the Nissan bluetooth page.

Anyway, I have a Samsung phone and the problem I am having is, every time I connect to the car, it wipes out my phone book on my phone! Fortunately I had an old backup and only lost 10 or 15 numbers, so now if I want to use the bluetooth in the car, I have to restore my phone's phone book every time from the Sim card... sucks!

Default Cube Bluetooth

I'm afraid I'm starting to have doubts about this car. The Bluetooth explanation in the owner's manual does not match (hell, it isn't even close) to reality. It simply doesn't work unless your phone downloads the phonebook for you.
Other things (minor, I agee) but irritating. I've had the car less than 3 mos. and already there's a rattle in the back seat, the button to open the rear hatch door doesn't work all the time, the doors don't shut with the "really closed" sound on every other car I've owned, and I can't lower the steering wheel because it blocks the speedometer.
That being said, it's still fun to drive and I still love it. I just wish it had the quality of a Scion xB (I've owned two of them). Ron from MA

bump - Anybody know or can post a link to info about transferring contacts from a Blackberry Pearl to the vehicle?

On the NNA site, my phone isn't listed, but it paired succesfully and I'm able to place and receive calls. Just need to get my phonebook into the car.

Google isn't terribly helpful so far for me...

Ok, NVM. Just went to see if the car would initiate the transfer (as I could not get the phone to initiate it) and the phone book was in the car already.

So I guess it did do it automatically once the Bluetooth pairing was complete. Yay technology!

If anyone else has problems with pairing with a Blackberry, I had better success with the pairing sequence initiated from the car instead of from the phone.
