Default Accent lights

Are there no accent lights at all if you don't get the 20 light package? I thought I read that you still got an accent light even w/o the full package. Wrong?

What, no one can tell me if they have accent lights? Do you need the full accent lights package to have an accent light?

Do you mean accent lights that light up the passenger and driver footwells like the 20 color change lights? I have the 20 color changing lights -- I said I didn't want them, and didn't pay for them (long story) but they ordered the car with them anyway -- so I don't know if there would be another accent light there instead.

Maybe someone else will jump in here -- I think most members don't have the color changing lights.

Maybe the dealership can tell you?

Yes, that's what I mean, Jo Anne. If you didn't get the 20 lights, does that mean you get no lights at all in the footwells?

Now you've got me wondering! My husband thinks maybe that area would light up, along with the interior lights, when you open the door, but we don't know.

Maybe someone without the 20 color changing lights will jump in and answer!

In canada its part of the "tech" package if you dont have the tech package you don't get them, you can always order then as an accessory though. And no the foot area does not light up with the interior lights...

That's interesting. I know I paid for the tech package, so where are my accent lights?

I just looked at the Tech package at the Nissan site and yes I have it, but the package doesn't mention the accent lights. How do you know we're supposed to have the lights?

I just found a spec sheet from my dealer. On it it only shows the accent lights as coming with the Krom edition.

To know for sure if you have this item, look for the dimmer switch, it is the round knob sitting just left of the shifter (if Automatic) basically on the shift console and the floor between the seats.

If you go to this review
Comparison Review: Kia Soul Versus Nissan cube: First Place: Nissan cube | The Truth About Cars

and look at the pictures at the end, in the first picture of the interior you will see a little knob beside the shifter, if you have that you have the lighting package.

Hope this helps...
