Default Air leakage problem

Ok, so i picked up my new cube today and on the 200km ride home -10C weather, i noticed actually felt cold air coming though the window controls on the door as well as air coming between the window and the seal inside the car. Both sides were kinda like this...

Has anyone else noticed this, and if not the next time on the hi-way can you stick your hand beside the controls and see if there is any air coming in-also beside the window (with the window closed)

Any help to determine if this is normal before I go running off to the dealer...

Anyone?

please next time you are driving please just put your hand on top of your window control and see if there is any air coming through...as well, test the window area...someone must be driving these cars on a daily basis and can offer an opinion????

I live 2.5 hrs away from the dealer and dont want to go running back if this is normal.

I'm going out tomorrow morning, but only here in town, about 4 miles from home, so won't be going highway speeds. (The speed limit in our town is 40 mph.) I'll check though.

I figured by now someone who's been on a highway or freeway would have responded!

Ah ha! I'm not the only one who had this issue.
I made a post around here somewhere about cold air coming in my car during extremely cold temperatures.
I couldn't pin point the issue (window controls eh? I'll check that) but my buddy sitting in back definitely noticed the temperature difference.

I drove my car this morning, only a short distance though and only about 40 mph, but I didn't notice any air coming in around the window or window controls.

Looks like "Ride the Piggy" has a problem too, so maybe your dealer should check this out.

when i had my drivers door panel off, i noticed the vapor barrier was not stuck down good, and falling off. that could be your problem, especially if its cold.

Well I took the car out again on the highway on a very cold day and I didn't notice the air. Maybe it was just my imagination? So far so good but i contacted my dealer just to advise and they will keep a record of it.

Almost every car I've owned had this issue.
