Question Question about the Shag Dash Topper

I've had my Caribbean Blue Cube for two whole days now and absolutely LOVE it! It's SO much fun to drive! I've already ordered the rubber all weather floor mats and the cargo area organizer, both of which I think will be nice additions.

I have a question about that Shag Dash Topper -- How many of you have installed yours in your Cube? Who loves it, who hates it?

I can't quite decide whether to use it or not -- what do you experienced Cube owners think???

Thanks!

I might list mine on EBAY with a reserve of $99.00.

Seriously, the most ridiculous thing ever introduced as an option or part of a package. Mine will sit some where in the garage or basement.

Use it if you want to. See how it appeals to you after some time goes by.

I am buying a Cube in Nov.

Ha! Ha! That's pretty much what I thought! Will keep it around, but probably NOT in my lovely Cube!

Thanks!

I have always had mine on the dash since day 1. Some friends asked what it was, I said that it was just a cool add-on, got he "uh-hah" but nothing ever bothered me. The only qualm I have with the shag is that it occupies the space I normally associate with a GPS unit, so I decided to move it forward a bit (it doesn't sit squarely in the dip on the dash) and now I have enough room for my GPS.

Does Nissan offer a small 12volt Hoover to keep it clean.

HA HA! I don't know! It's held on by a round (of course) Velcro patch. Maybe you have to un-Velcro it and beat it with a stick! It does look like a good dust catcher!

Maybe the 010's will have indoor/outdoor carpeting on the dash

On the top shelf. Where the air is rare.
I'm curious. Why such a round carpet in such a Square car? I'm puzzled.
