2010 Krom sound issues
We have a Rockford Fosgate sound system that comes with the Krom model. The subwoofer still has some sound coming out of it - but the bass is nowhere near as loud as it use to be. The Nissan technicians look at us like we are idiots, saying we just have the bass controls set too low. We had the bass set to half way because the top level (5) use to be too loud - would make the whole car shake. They turned it up to 5 and said that was our problem, it is now fix. It's no longer loud - you can barely hear the bass and certainly cannot feel it in the car. Also, many times when we start the car (no matter the temperature, how long the car hasn't been driven, etc) the subwoofer makes a buzzing sound - even with the stereo turned off. It only lasts for a few seconds, but it is loud and noticeable. Our main issue discovering what is causing this, is the fact that it does not happen every time we start the car - just most times. Of course, when we take it into the shop, they cannot recreate this effect. Has anyone else ran into this issue?
