Default Tanabe Tower Bar

Hello,
Just got my cube yesterday, already ordered the Stillen CIA and Muffler. What do you think about the Tanabe Tower Bar? Where did you get it? I went to the Tanabe site and it is pretty hard to navigate.

Looks like the Tanabe Strut Tower Bar Armen is using is for the Versa and not the Cube. According to Tanabe's site, it's not yet available. The two versions look noticeably different.

Well, when I ordered mine, it was listed on their site as for the Cube. But when the box came, it indicated 'For Versa'. Anyway, it did fit but I had to modify the hood prop receiver. I just sniped the one half and then bent it back to a new position. Works fine:

Default Tanabe Tow

Hey Armen,
Thanks for the pics and information. Did you buy the bar direct or from one of their dealers? Where did you buy it?

So do you think just adding the bar would make a difference? Overall you happy with the suspension changes you made? And thank you for the information posted, really helps.

I can't say that the strut tower brace makes a difference by itself. But that combined with the coil over suspension, I can certainly say it makes a difference. The car has a much lower center of gravity and the handling improvement is fantastic. The harder you go into a corner, the harder it seems to stick.

Tanabe also now has the under side brace which I think I'll invest in:

Tanabe USA Inc. - Sustec Under Brace
