Custom sub box (home made)

I decided to replace the factory stereo... I had empty cargo area, so here's what I came up with.
An extremely easy to build box for roughly $100 (or less). While still being able to have plenty of leg room for rear passengers. I actually used the car area floor mat as a template, and traced it onto a sheet of cardboard. I still have a few more items to add to the box, which I'm going to hold off on saying what they are until it's all done.
I included my sketch drawing incase any of you are interested in building this same box for yourself. It's a simple easy project that you could do over the weekend.

Thanks man. I still have a couple more things to do to the box. But for the most part it's built, done, and sounds awesome. My speakers hit so hard the headliner in my cube actually flutters with the bass notes of the music!

The sub box is almost done. I've just been busy lately putting together a water/methanol kit for my NSX, which has been keeping me from spending money else where.

But I have one last item to finish, and the sub box will be complete.

Thanks for the spec sheet on the box. I am using your design to make my own. The only thing I changed was to make the box a tad deeper. I made the depth 15.5" instead of 13'. This gives each chamber almost exactly 1.0 cu.ft. of air space. I'm gonna be droppin a couple of 10" kicker solo-barics in there. I will post pics when it's finished.

Post up pix for sure when you're done! I'd love to see some new ideas. I always find it interesting what spin people put on things that they are inspired by.
