I admit I first wasn't sure about it but now that I've had it a week I'm keeping it. It's perfect to keep my sunglasses on when I'm not wearing them and I don't have to worry about scratches. And the rebel in me wants to defy the obligatory warning label on the bottom. Watch out for the "Shag Police"
I think it goes perfect in this quirky little car. I agree it's a perfect place for sunglasses or my cell phone but I love it because whenever anybody looks at it they always say "Why in the world would they put that thing on the dash"? I think it's just one of many things that make this car so cool.
Let me start by saying you do whatever you want with your car and your hard earned money, or whatever makes you happy. But just know that some things are just silly, pointless and just bad taste. So let me just give a example of a few things that im aware of, that people are doing that just makes my skin crawl.
1. If you are going to buy rota wheels cool, but be aware that there have been a few case's of them breaking, but my issue with people who buy rota's is that for some reason they think they are JDM wheels. They are not. And for some reason they also think everybody else is stupid enuff to beleive they are the rare JDM set. Why? They are fake imitation's. No more no less. Which leads me to my next DONT.
2. If you are going to buy FAKE IMITATION wheels like, Rota, Konig, etc...etc.... because they look like rare wheels that are either to expensive, or to hard to find, and you got a good pakage deal on them with tires on ebay for $600 great!! But do not put stickers on them and try to pass them as the real deal. Which leads to the next Dont
3.Do not put Real wheel stickers on FAKE wheels. Just dont. Why would you do that?????????
4. Do not hang ANYTHING on or from your tow hook. It does not make your car JDM. I would say dont even buy a tow hook if your car isnt lowered, or you dont race on a track on the regular.
5. Do not buy emblems, sticker's, decal's, badge's, or accessories that are not for your car or maunufactuer. Example mugen sticker's on a toyota, Nismo badge's on a honda, turbo porsch emblems on your mazda just cause you bought a turbo kit. Or emblems from the version of the car you wished they would have sold us in the U.S., like type-r emblems on a regular integra.
Do not put slanted options sticker' on you bumper, and do not put jdm new and elder driver badge on your car that was ok 10 years ago but not now
6. If you are not sponsered do not put there decal's on the outside of your car, but under the hood is ok.
7. No fake toyota altezza/clear taillights, No fake bmw halo headlights.
8. PLEASE PLEASE no roof wing/spoilers.
9. No designer interiors, like bathing ape headliner's, or louis V seats.
10. NO lambo doors on a four door, wagen, or SUV, Coupe and convertable's only.
That all for now but these are the most important, and to me the reason poeple call import lover' RICER"S

IDK why my sig is such a big deal? Its a basic concept of how arguing gets nobody any where on a internet forum. And be cause this is how I feel about shouting matches throught the web I will not be changing it.
