I have my VIN #, BUT

That's right, my dealer called today to tell me he has a firm date on my new 2010 Caribbean Cube 1.8 S, 6 Speed, which is now going to be the first of January. Started out as the end of Nov/Dec 1st to Dec 15 to now the first of January. I growled a little bit and thought what the heck can I do about it, nothing! lol He said I also have your VIN # which was nice. The good thing is, I'll have enough money saved that I can just pay for it. The other really nice thing are the changes for the new "S" model Cube as listed by Nissan and shown below.

For 2010, the Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System, leather-wrapped steering wheel and steering wheel audio controls are now standard for cube S and SL models. New standard equipment for cube S models includes the Interface System for iPod®, MP3 CD-ROM playback capacity, Radio Data System (RDS), speed-sensitive volume control (SSV) and two additional speakers (six total). One new exterior color is available, Sapphire Black.

I guess it is all worth the wait.

I know you have the record so far for having to wait and you had some extenuating circumstances with your deal. I'm trying to set a new record for just a simple order. LOL!!

Ha! Ha! That kind of record I can do without!! I'm sure hoping you get yours sooner! When did you order yours? Once you have a VIN #, things start movin along quickly! When I had a VIN #, I felt comforted in knowing that there actually WAS a CUBE out there somewhere for ME!

Keep us posted -- the days are so long when you're waiting! I feel your pain! I still keep looking out in the garage, just to make sure "SuzieCube" is STILL THERE!!!

I ordered mine September 28, 2009. I did realize once we discussed things that I was caught in the middle of the model year close out and the new ones being built.
