Default Not so great Cube review; huh?

Hi all. I'm new to the forum having just become acquainted with the Cube. I absolutely love it! To me it's a rolling work of art in a sea of boring, unispired look-a-like cars. My wife loves it as well. Just looking at it makes us smile and the last car that made us smile was our Audi TT (newborn twins made the TT highly impractical). What a fabulous concept!
Anyway, we are thinking about buying one but I have a few questions.
The Car and Driver review seems to be at odds with many other reviews I've read:
2010 Nissan Cube S - Road Test/Micro Machines/Car Shopping/Hot Lists/Reviews/Car and Driver - Car And Driver

Does the dash really shiver and groan, and do the rear headrests really vibrate?
How does everyone find the Cube on highways? So many reviews seem to feel the Cube is a great around-town car, but not in its element (sorry) on the highway.
On the Edmunds site, MSRP is very close to what people have actually paid. Is this the reality of buying a Cube?

Thanks very much for any replies to my questions.
